Thomas leads the Business Development team for Komatsu Germany GmbH, focusing on product management and business growth initiatives. Thomas started his career with Komatsu Germany in 2011, managing mining HEX sales projects for Europe and French-speaking parts of Africa. Later, he transitioned into a leadership position as the Manager of the Marketing Department, before embarking in 2018 on a two-year assignment in Australia working as the National Product Manager for large mining HEX for a Komatsu dealership. Thomas re-joined Komatsu Germany in his current role in 2020. Prior to joining Komatsu, Thomas worked in the automotive and telecommunications industries. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Engineering from the Technical University of Karlsruhe and an LL.M. from the University of Saarland.
