Ratna Kanth Dittakavi is the eMine™ Global Sales Manager at ABB. He graduated as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer in 2002 and since then has gained over 22 years of experience in industrial automation, specifically Distributed Control Systems, within ABB. In January 2022, he was appointed as Global Product Manager – Trolley Systems, before being named the eMine™ Global Sales Manager in October 2023. eMine is ABB’s purposeful and holistic concept of methods and solutions designed to accelerate the energy transition in mining. Together with the ABB Mining Team, Ratna works to build the electric and automated mine, transforming mining operations to drive a safe, sustainable and profitable future for our customers and ultimately create sustainable progress for the mining industry, as well as the earth it relies on.
