Markus Dammers is a Senior Manager within Metso for Mining Applications in the area of crushing and conveying systems, including IPCC and ore sorting. Markus is based in Germany but has a global role supporting all market areas within Metso. He has been with Metso since 2021. Before joining Metso, he worked for another OEM in the bulk materials handling business. He completed his Master and PhD studies at RWTH Aachen University between 2006 and 2017. At the university he worked in different departments and functions, where he was involved in teaching, research and international project work – mainly in underground mining – including several months of on-site work.
