James Oliver is a highly respected figure in the mining industry, serving as the Managing Director of Olitek, a well-known Australian-based technology development and deployment company renowned for its innovative machinery that enhances safety and productivity in mining operations. In addition to his leadership at Olitek, James serves as the CEO of BluVein, a company revolutionising the mining industry by safely enabling the complete electrification of heavy mining fleets. The Olitek Group of companies develops leading-edge solutions for international mining organisations. These include major players such as BHP, Vale, Glencore, Rio Tinto, AngloGold Ashanti, Agnico Eagle, Northern Star and South32. It also partners with major OEM companies. James and his team have designed and commissioned a range of successful mining solutions, including safe AN handling equipment, underground charge up equipment, and Tyneloader – a cutting-edge shipping container loading system – to name a few. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Mechanical Engineering degree from the Queensland University of Technology in 2004.
