Hans Möhle has almost 30 years experience in the mining industry. He started his mining engineering career in operational and, later, project roles in the block caves of De Beers in South Africa to managerial level before emigrating to Australia in 2007. In Australia, Hans has had numerous roles from technical corporate positions to FIFO operational, project and technical ones, for both mid-cap to Tier 1 mining companies. Hans has worked on numerous technical studies, one of those as the mining lead for a feasibility study in the Philippines, first as a block cave which pivoted to open-pit mining. Prior to joining Hatch, Hans worked in a mine ventilation and cooling engineering consultancy as Principal Engineer and Director. During his time at Hatch, he has been involved in several mining project studies including block caving-related projects. Hans holds a Mine Managers Certificate of Comptency from South Africa as well as a First Class Mine Managers Ticker from Western Australia. He is a fellow of the AusIMM.
