Dineo Phaladi-Magwaza is a globally seasoned mining professional with mining technology exposure across Europe, Africa and Australia. She has circa-15 years mining experience. Her mining experience spans across open-cast and underground mining (conventional and mechanised), in different commodities and mining methods. Her wealth of operational experience spans from previous roles such as Mining Manager and Technology Manager. She is a trained Mining Engineer with an MBA from Wits Business School. Among her many achievements, she has been recognized by WIM UK as a Top 100 Women in Mining. She currently holds the role of Tech and Innovation Specialist, supporting the strategic planning of Anglo American’s next priority Tier 1 asset, Woodsmith Project, based in North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom.
