Danie has 25-plus years practical mining experience in mechanised underground caving methods, other massive mining methods as well as a solid understanding and participation in narrow reef, narrow vein, open-pit and marine mining methods. He has extensive short-, medium- and long-range planning knowledge and experience, as well as experience in systems engineering as well as project management for various technical and operational mining software and hardware applications. Danie has extensive project management skills relating to technology and mine implementation with hands on experience relating to technical mining software deployment, mining automation and mining technology deployment, as well as change management relating to the roll-out of these at a mining operation.
