Adrian Beer is the former CEO of the Australian Government’s Industry Growth Centre for the Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector. Adrian has over 30 years of industrial technology experience, across a wide range of capital-intensive industries. His career has encompassed product strategy, digital transformation and commercialising innovation; from small-scale start-ups to corporate executive strategy roles in two of the world’s largest industrial tech organisations. Adrian is passionate about collaborative transformation, business efficiency and optimising operations for stakeholders. With a background in electrical engineering, he has worked in resources, energy generation, transmission and distribution, utilities, transportation and defence. He holds an MBA from the University of New England, is a Fellow of AusIMM, a Director of the Australian Innovation Exchange and serves on numerous advisory boards.
